Brandon J. Wallace, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer
Brandon J. Wallace graduated magna cum laude from Howard University in May 2007 with a BA in Communications and Culture. While at Howard University, he served as President of the John H. Johnson School of Communications Student Council and Vice Chairman of the Howard University Policy Board (the campus’ student judicial body). From 2005-2007 Mr. Wallace also served as the International 2nd Vice President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. In his role of 2nd Vice President, Brandon was the highest ranking undergraduate member and represented undergraduate concerns on the organizations board of directors.
Brandon lives by the George Washington Carver quote “No individual has any right to come into the world and go out of it without leaving something behind.” Brandon served as Senior Vice President of Motley Management, LLC; an entertainment management company with a focus on community service and involvement. Additionally, he served as the DC State Coordinator for Black Youth Vote; a program of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation.
Mr. Wallace currently serves as the Executive Director for The William Kellibrew Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for victims of violent crime and working to break the cycle of violence and poverty across the globe.
Brandon currently works for the Environmental Protection Agency as an Oak Ridge Institute of Science and Technology (ORISE) Fellow. He is responsible for implementing the Memorandum of Understanding between Howard University and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This agreement was formed after Hurricane Katrina displaced university students across the gulf coast and has grown into a blossoming partnership providing internships and opportunities to current Howard students and recent alumni.
Brandon has been honored to receive numerous recognitions of his dedication and service including: Cambridge’s Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals (2010), the Inaugural Edition of Who’s Who in Black DC (2009), the Dr. Raymond S. Bounds Award (2006), and his induction into Lambda Pi Eta National Communications Honor Society (2006).
